Marisa is a first-generation Italian American. She is considered a native speaker of the Italian language. Marisa promotes the Italian Language and Culture through her cooking and language lessons to preserve her heritage's culture and traditions.

When not in the kitchen or garden, Marisa loves spending time with her 4 adult children, her two granddaughters, and her adoring husband Dan. She also likes dancing and reading!

Marisa resides in Cleveland Ohio with her husband and has lived there for over 20 years.
